Question 1

Do players need to install anything or make an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Players scan a QR code or type a room code at qwizbee.com, pick a nickname, and they are in. Everything runs in the phone browser.

Question 2

How many players can join one game?

Accepted Answer

Up to 30 players per game on the free plan. Pro raises the cap to 100 and Business to 300 for large events.

Question 3

Can players join mid-game?

Accepted Answer

Yes, late join is on by default. The host can also lock the room once everyone is in.

Question 4

What screens do I need?

Accepted Answer

One shared screen for the host, such as a projector or a TV, and one phone per player. The host also controls the game from their laptop.

Question 5

How many question types are there?

Accepted Answer

Twenty. Classic scored rounds including picture choice, pin on the map and word scrambles, point-free survey formats such as polls, word clouds, open answers, brainstorms and pick-a-player votes, plus presentation slides. See the question types page for the full catalogue.

Question 6

Can multiple people write the same quiz?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Quizzes are edited together live, like a doc, with cursors and presence avatars. Party mode goes further: everyone writes a secret part and the host reveals the merged quiz live.

Question 7

Can I reuse or export my questions?

Accepted Answer

Quizzes can be duplicated, imported and exported, and game results download as CSV. Pro plans add Excel reports.

Question 8

Do slides and surveys affect the score?

Accepted Answer

No. Presentation slides take no input at all, and survey formats are point-free, so nobody falls behind during an opinion round.

Question 9

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

The free plan covers unlimited quizzes and games with up to 30 players and every question type. Pro costs $10 per month for 100-player rooms, custom branding and Excel reports. See the pricing page for the full comparison.

Question 10

Who pays, the host or the players?

Accepted Answer

Only the host. Players never pay and never need an account.

Question 11

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plans are billed monthly per host and can be cancelled whenever you like. Your quizzes and reports stay yours.

Question 12

What data do you collect?

Accepted Answer

Hosts need an email and a password, that is all. Players only provide a throwaway nickname. There are no trackers and no third-party analytics on the site.

Question 13

Can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the account page. Deleting removes your quizzes and hosted game history; player nicknames and scores remain in past reports anonymised.
