There is a secret hiding on the Qwizbee homepage. The bees are not just decoration: you can poke them, annoy them, and if you push far enough, you will meet Her Majesty. Here is exactly how.
Step 1: Find a bee
There are bees scattered across the landing page: a big one hovering over the quiz editor demo, one flying laps along the dotted track above the three step cards, one on the pricing card, and one cheering at the bottom call to action. Any of them works.
Step 2: Poke it
Click or tap a bee. It buzzes, shakes, and gets a little angry: eyebrows appear, its gold starts shifting red, it puffs up, its wings blur faster. A little puff of indignation floats off it. Every extra poke makes it angrier.
Poke the same bee ten times and it has had enough: it flies off the screen, then comes back with thirty of its friends. The swarm sweeps in from the left and right edges, fills your screen for ten seconds, then streams away.
Step 3: Provoke three different bees
This is the part most people miss. Poke three different bees within about fifteen seconds of each other. It does not matter how angry each one is, one poke per bee is enough. On a phone you only need two bees since fewer are visible.
The Queen arrives
A much larger bee glides in from off screen to the exact center of your view. She wears a crown, hovers regally, and delivers her rebuke: "BUZZZZ! Who dares poke my workers? Mind your own beeswax!" Then she flies off, and every bee she passed calms down instantly.
Things to know
- ✓ Bees cool off if you leave them alone for a few seconds, so keep the pokes coming.
- ✓ At maximum anger a bee stays mad for a full ten seconds before calming.
- ✓ After the Queen visits she will not come back until all the bees have settled.
- ✓ The whole thing is harmless: the bees return to their spots and everything resets.
